Blue Fest 2026, the Deaf Expo held on 26 and 27 February 2026 at Mount Carmel College in Bangalore, brought together members of the Deaf community, students, educators, and organizations committed to accessibility and inclusion. The two day event created an engaging platform to celebrate Deaf culture, promote awareness, and strengthen collaborative efforts toward empowerment.

NABK attended the Deaf Expo and actively participated in the event, reaffirming its commitment to inclusive development. A significant highlight during this period was the recognition received by Dr. Rajesh M S MBA, CEO and Lead Volunteer of the National Association for the Blind. He was honoured with the DLF Certificate of Appreciation 2026 in recognition of his dedicated service and leadership in advancing initiatives for persons with disabilities.

The Deaf Expo provided an important opportunity to share such impactful initiatives with a wider audience. Visitors engaged with representatives, learned about training programs, and explored avenues for collaboration. The event atmosphere was vibrant and inspiring, with meaningful conversations centered on accessibility, equal opportunity, and inclusive growth.

Blue Fest 2026 demonstrated how institutional platforms and community organizations can work together to drive real change. The participation of NABK and the recognition of its leadership underscored a shared commitment to building a society where inclusion is embedded in education, employment, and community life.
