Today was a truly special day at NAB, as leaders from CGI visited us for a sensitisation session focused on Visual Impairment and Assistive Technology.
The day was filled with curiosity, learning, laughter and meaningful experiences. Our guests stepped into the shoes of persons with visual impairment through a variety of engaging activities.

They experienced blindfold activities, Trust Walks, identifying objects through touch, and exploring different assistive technologies. They also enjoyed playing Ludo and Chess, discovering how these games can be made accessible and inclusive.

From mathematics tools and Braille to various assistive technologies, they explored each resource with great interest and enthusiasm. The blindfold experiences gave them an opportunity to understand, even for a short while, the challenges, adaptations and possibilities in the everyday lives of persons with visual impairment.
