As part of Prevention of Blindness Week, 60 students, along with 2 faculty members from RV College of Nursing, visited NAB Karnataka on 7th April 2026.

The students were introduced to the work carried out at NAB and how we train and empower persons with visual impairment. They explored assistive technologies, including screen readers, and gained insights into how visually impaired individuals access information, education, and daily activities.

The session was interactive, with students actively engaging and clarifying their queries. They also toured the campus, gaining a better understanding of our environment and activities.

The visit concluded with a group photograph, marking a meaningful and enriching experience for all!
